UIN Online – The Association of Quasi Court Actuator (IPPS) of Shariah and Law Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar dispatched eleven delegation teams to the gods island of Bali in order to follow Regional Cup Mot Court Competition of Udayana University in Indonesia. Before the departure, those eleven teams were invited to introduce themselves in the event of Welcoming Freshmen (PMB) of Shariah and Law Faculty in the building of Character Building Program (CBP) and then they were dispatched by the vice dean of Shariah and Law Faculty some time ago.
"All praises to Allah, the struggle in the participants’ quarantine for 6 months will end up at Udayana University. It is a short time to prepare for this MCC competition. Many barriers, obstacles, and likes to grief during the quarantine period lasted," said the new chairman of IPPS, Haryono Hamsir when interviewed at the time of dispatching his teams.
In addition, that 7th semester student of Syariah and Law Faculty (FSH) added that the departure of the delegation teams was purely from personal funds from each of the participants started from the quarantine fund to the ground transportation fund. "I hope in the future that the leaders and officials can give a little help for my friends who will participate in the competition, because somehow we still carry the name of the University of FSH and of course in a large scale, said Ono.
He also hoped that the delegation teams would be able to become the winner of the competition, so that the university especially the faculty could be proud of them. "God willing, along with our friends, we will stay there for a week from September 3 to September 9, 2014. We will also follow several competition stages to the finals," said Maulia Fadiah Danilah as chairman of the delegation.
This 5th semester student majoring in Law Studies of FSH also added that hopefully we could maximize the quarantine period which was conducted for 6 months. "We are very optimistic about winning the completion, even we hope that we can get all the awards, such as, the best clerk of court, and the best judge," said Lala optimistically.
"This event takes much struggle to participate in it, started from fulfilling the police and prosecution file, making the indictment and its decree, the court file and others. In addition, we need to follow the first training of the judge's decision to sentence the defendant and then we need to go back and forth to Sungguminasa Gowa District Court for the exercise there. So, the preparation this time is to strengthen the teams because the other delegation teams are also very skillful such as the teams from the University of Indonesia, UGM, UNPAD, and other universities that will participate there as well," he explained.
“My only hope is we fully expect that IPPS can bring the good image of South Sulawesi, especially our university, UIN Alauddin Makassar.” He said when closing the interview.
